CUSTODIAN FULL-TIME/PART-TIME

Hazelett designs, engineers, and manufactures the Hazelett® Twin-Belt Caster for the nonferrous metals industry. Hazelett is recognized worldwide for our leading metals processing technology. The materials produced on our casting machines are used in many applications such as automotive structures, aluminum cookware, street signs, automotive batteries, and copper wire.

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in various assigned areas, including vestibules, waiting rooms, offices, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.

  • Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, collecting trash and recycling, and spot cleaning walls.

  • Clean glass surfaces, countertops, tables, windowsills, and other surfaces to remove dirt, fingerprints, smudges, and debris.

  • Ensure restrooms are sanitized, fully stocked with paper and soap products, and maintain cleanliness of toilets, urinals, sinks, and mirrors.

  • Polish stainless-steel surfaces and clean doors, door handles, and push plates as needed.

  • Handle all cleaning tasks with attention to detail, ensuring surfaces are sanitized and personal items are not disturbed.

Additional Duties

  • Regularly spot clean walls and surfaces.

  • Maintain all areas free of cobwebs, dust, and other debris.

  • Perform weekly cleaning in specified areas, ensuring thorough maintenance of all assigned spaces.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma (or GED equivalent) with relevant experience.
